Our Preschoolers in our program are encouraged to be independent in their daily activities. Areas of growth that are focused on include: manners, hand washing, toileting and general hygiene.

Preschool children develop their parallel play into cooperative play.

Staff encourages Preschool children to develop their verbal skills as an effective means of communication.

At Group time: Preschoolers work on recognition of the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes. Teachers provide individual attention to each child to achieve skills like holding a pencil and cutting with scissors. These accomplishments prepare your child for Kindergarten.

Our Pre-Kindergarten Room shares common objectives with our Preschool Room.  For increased stimulation and challenge children in our Pre-Kindergarten Room are encouraged to not only recognize but also write their alphabet and numbers.  Other fun challenges include:

  • Basic Spanish is incorporated through numbers and colors.
  • The alphabet is taught in American Sign-Language.
Preschool Staff:

Our preschool staff is specifically trained to instruct preschool in a child care setting. This guarantees your child will be provided with and even balance of teacher directed activities and supervised free play.

Our qualified staff continues to increase their knowledge of preschool by attending in-service training programs.
